Methodology and sources
Postcodes are grouped by their best recorded city or suburb label and administrative county or district. Names are matched case-insensitively across different administrative areas. Every matching area pair is published and ranked by distance between mean postcode coordinates.

Source datasets change over time and can contain omissions or revisions. Verify operational, admissions, financial or safety-critical decisions with the responsible authority.
