Axmouth is a coastal village located in the county of Devon, in the south-west of England. Situated on the eastern side of Lyme Bay, it lies at the mouth of the River Axe, from which it takes its name. The village is known for its sandy beach and the adjacent Axmouth Beach, which offers views across the bay towards Lyme Regis.
