Buckfast is a village located in the county of Devon, in the south-west of England. It is situated within the TQ11 postcode area and lies in the valley of the River Dart, surrounded by rolling countryside. The village is best known for the Buckfast Abbey, a Benedictine monastery that has been a place of worship since the 11th century.
