Bayhead is a small settlement located in the Outer Hebrides, within the council area of Na h-Eileanan an Iar. Situated on the island of Lewis, it lies along the western coast, offering views of the Atlantic Ocean. The area is characterised by its rugged coastline and traditional crofting landscape, with a small number of homes scattered along the shore. The community is closely connected to the local fishing industry, which has historically been a significant part of life in the region. The postcode area HS3 covers this part of the Western Isles, and the settlement is accessible by road from the nearby village of Carloway.
